All three PM3 versions have the same pitch (1/4") and groove width (1.1 mm) – the difference lies exclusively in the number of drive links and therefore the suitable bar size:

• 56 DL (this model) – for the shortest bars in the PM3 category

• 72 DL – for the longest bars in the PM3 category

Important compatibility note

The 1/4" pitch is a special pitch for lightweight one-handed saws and pole pruners. This chain is not compatible with standard chainsaws like the MS 162, MS 271, MS 362, or MS 462, which use a 3/8" pitch.
